| CONSTELACION |
Constelacion Theatrical Group is a non profit organization, created and founded in 1992 in Van
Nuys City San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles California by Ivan Olivares .
OUR GOAL: To put the dramatic arts into everyone's reached among the Latino population. To
train and promote the best Latin talents for theatre, TV, Hollywood movies.
HOW?: Implementing and enforcing our program "THEATRE FOR EVERYONE" in Los Angeles and
progressively in specific cities with a large population of Latinos.
OUR ACTING SCHOOL:
Acting classes for children, young and adult people. Not only for somebody who wants to become
an actor, the classes are also good for anybody who wants to use our acting technique as a
therapy to open a window in it's mind and express feelings, emotions etc. The classes include
monthly evaluations in front of an audience, and finish with a final show in charge of the best
students and include not only acting, also dancing and singing .We use this final show to promote
them and we invite talent agents, T.V., or theatre promoters who usually choose our best students.
OUR THEATRICAL COMPANY:
Our main program also included professional theatre shows in charge of our Theatre Company.
We, give our best students the chance to be include in our theatrical productions.
This shows usually brings Latin-American, Hispanic, traditions, cultures or just reflects faces of the
reality of the "Latino" immigrant living in U.S.A. This shows are taken to cities with a large Latino
population, where no theatre shows in Spanish are presented. We give everyone the change to
attend our performances. We usually charge a symbolic price.
OUR AGENCY:
As part of the program “THEATRE FOR EVERYONE”, We have our own Talent Agency, dedicated
to promote our best talents to theatrical, television and movies productions.
OUR OWN TELEVISION PROGRAM:
Now we have our own Television program that is shown in locals channels from San Fernando
Valley, California. This is the instrument we use with our students so they can act in front of
cameras and loose the fear to cameras.
IVAN OLIVARES: Is a Peruvian actor, writer and theatre director. Bachelor in Psychologist deeply
involved and identified with the people. He's the mastermind of "Constelacion". He says: "theatre is
for everybody", not only for the rich and actors, it's for everyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of
this training for the enrichment of it's own personality and culture".
We are located in 11006 Magnolia Ave., North Hollywood, CA 91601 (corner of Vineland), and the
classes are every Sunday at 11:00am
